Plex for samsung. I am having issues with buffering and the movies picture sticking but audio still playing. My pc has a i9 cpu and a rtx 2080 ti so power is not the issue. Why is my server struggling to stream videos?
Are you trying to transcode a 4K video?
Is your TV far away from your access point?
Is your PC hardwired or wireless?
My i7-3770k can’t keep up with 4k transcoding, but your i9-9900k should.
Im thinking this is more of a bandwidth issue… or simply the Samsung Plex App not keeping up
Nope it’s 720p, tv right next to pc and access point, pc is hardwired as is tv. Thought it might be the samsung plex app but tried it on ps4 and same issue.
Try changing the Graphics Settings, it helped my performance tremendously.
Got to Graphics Settings in Windows 10. I found and added Plex Transcoder.exe and now the RTX seems to handle all transcoding and i’ve got fantastic performance. Let me know how it works for you.
DEBUG log files which capture the start of a playback session and the failure are needed.
This is a Linux issue. Windows is not applicable here.
