Server settings unavailable on mac

Using a mac and apparently the latests version - just in last 24 hours I cannot access server settings. Just get “server settings unavailable” message constantly.
Not using a VPN and have tried without firewall/antivirus with no success.

I am not a massivly techy person - can anyone advise please.

really bizarre but rebooting the NAS drive appears to have solves this issue for now
