Server unreachable on home network with PMS and nvidia shield ?

I have recently changed from apple tv to NVidia shield to run my plex media server on and have been pulling my hair out at trying to get my plex web app to connect to the server running on the shield
It shows it as unreachable all the time on the web app- my plex media server is 1.9.4.4325 the latest from google app store, I have a utility warehouse technicolour router vg588 v2 and the shield is connected by wired Ethernet and is able to access the internet fine. I have not made any changes to the router since when it was working with the apple tv any ideas? I love plex and would hate to have to abandon it

I’ve seen the same behavior trying to connect via the web app on Edge browser on a hardwired computer. iPad with safari via Wi-Fi seems to pickup the server fine. Not a huge deal but needs to be addressed.

I have this version 1.18.2.2079 on my Shield Android TV and then other day without any changes now it’s unreachable
