Server upgrade available but nothing to download

Server Version#: 0.9.16.6

I have PMS 0.9.16.6 installed on my ReadyNAS Ultra 4+. The server is telling me there is an update available with a ‘Please install manually’ link. When I follow the link there is nothing to download for my NAS.

Where do I download this manual update?


I have to say, I’m pretty annoyed that I am locked out of a new server version since the Plex app for my LG TV has informed me it will not connect to my server version and Plex appear to have dumped my NAS.

Not only that, the Android app I paid for will not connect to my current server version and nor will the web app so I can’t even screen cast from my Surface Pro.

Good way to screw customers Plex!!!

So nobody can tell me why I am notified of a new server version and yet there is nothing to download?

Have you tried this page: [https://www.plex.tv/media-server-downloads/]? Then select Netgear from the dropdown. As far as how to install the update, I am unsure because I own a Synology. I hope this helps(https://www.plex.tv/media-server-downloads/)

Thank you for taking the time to reply. I have checked that link and it only contains versions for newer ReadyNAS devices.

I am aware that my specific device is no longer supported but I don’t understand why PMS is notifying of a newer version that I cannot find let alone download.

I suspect that Plex need to answer this question.
