The manage channels dialog under Live TV & DVR reports device channels and guide channels up to 1784. Guide channels above 986 are gray and cannot be checked and assigned to a device channel above 1000 of which there are many. The HDHomeRun app in windows and my Tivo have no problem accessing the channels from 1000-1784 both SD and HD.

This is for the guide called Comcast - Nashua - Digital for Nashua, NH, US.
