Problems adding channels with two devices HDHomerun Connect and HDHomerun prime

I am running Plex on the latest version of Mac OS. I had it connected to an HDHomerun Connect. I recently added a HDHomerun Prime with a cable card. It is on Time Warner/Spectrum.

The Plex sees 186 channels on the HDHomRun Connect with 82 channels enabled.
Everything looks good.

On the HDHomeRun Prime it shows 247 channels shows but only 2 enabled. I want to enable more channels that are not DRM protected.
Unfortunately, most of the channels are showing up as “Protected.” I assume those are DRM channels. (I hate Time Warner/Spectrum. I recommend going to the FCC web page and filing an informal complaint about this DRM issue. Time Warner doesn’t need to do this. I also have a system on Comcast and those exact same channels are not DRM. Hopefully if there is enough complaints, the FCC will do something.)

I have about 10 channels that are not protected. There are two sections that show up when you enable/manage channels - Device Channels and Guid Channels.
When I check the box for a Device channel, there appears to be appears to be a probem with the Guide channels. Instead of showing the cable tv channels for the Guide Channels, it only shows me the guide for the over the air channels. At the top of the screen, it even says, “Local Over the Air Broadcast.” Instead of Cable. When I added the second DVR, it knew it was cable. I tried deleted the DVRs and setting them up again. I have the same problem. Is anyone else having this problem? Maybe you can only have one guide - over the air or cable and not both?

Thanks

Currently the DVR is tied to the Guide. Search the forum for command line method of adding a 2nd DVR to Plex. If TW/Spectrum broadcasts all the OTA channels you receive on the Connect you could try deleting the DVR, add the Prime first selecting TW/ Spectrum for the Guide data, then add the Connect. I am envious though, 186 channels OTA is great. I only have 27 here.

Thank you I will search the forum. Hopefully the command line method of adding a DVR will work different than the GUI method. The reason I am getting so many channels is because I am also receiving the Los Angeles OTA channels and all their sub channels in addition to the San Diego channels.
Unfortunately, the TW/Spectrum broadcasts only has the local San Diego OTA channels and none of the sub channels so what you are proposing probably won’t work. I was so excited to get the HDHomerun Prime with TW/Spectrum. I was so disappointed when I only received a handful of channels. I filed an informal complaint with the FCC but I am sure they will do nothing unless they get a lot of complaints. I am hoping this forum will encourage other people to spend the five minutes and file an online informal complaint.

If I have a cable HDHR and a OTA HDHR, the guide will only show the OTA guide.
