Hi, I followed the guide at https://www.feralhosting.com/faq/view?question=297 to setup plex on my feral server. I can log in using secure SSH but when i try to remote login using the remote url, it does not accept my username and password. I have tried using my plex account credentials and my feral server login but neither allows me to access the plex server remotely. I’m not sure what im missing. I’ve also tried using my email address as the username.
You more than likely did not do the inital plex set through an SSH Tunnel

So if I understand correctly, I need to login to the server with the SSH tunnel enabled? I setup the tunnel to configure remote access but was not using it when I tried to log in
For the initial setup you have to either be on the local box or create an SSH Tunnel.
Opening the Plex Web App on a Device Other than the Server Itself
If you’re on a different network than the Server computer, you’ll first need to set up a SSH tunnel so that you can access things as if they were local. This is only necessary for the initial setup.

Ok I did that during setup. I’m fairly sure I’ve done everything in that guide for setup. When I try to log into the server without the tunnel, however, it won’t log me in regardless of which credentials I provide. The login box just pops up again. The title is Authentication Required, and the text says “The server (Outside IP) requires a username and password. The server says: SABnzbd”
Do you have SABnzbd installed on there as well?
What URL are you using to connect? It should be something like http:IP_OF_HOST:32400/web
Also, while you where connected through the SSH TUNNEL, you needed to make sure your account was connected to plex.tv and remote access was fully enabled

A feral server? Just make sure you get your shots before dealing with it!
