port for webserver needs to be 80 not 78
But I changed the port in the settings.cfg file and am using the virtual host to redirect it, because port 80 is being used by the webserver. I thought that was the point of these changes -- so this could live next to a webserver and both wouls still work?
You might be better posting the info in the Linux thread as they will be able to spot any config errors in your Apache/DNS setup (sorry I am a little rusty on it).
My guess, from your symptoms, is it is your DNS configuration of trailers.apple.com that is the issue now and needs looking at.
with the latest versions of plexconnect I can not get it to close down cleanly to generate the settings file. Is there anyway to fix that? I just use Ctrl + C at the moment.
