Which do technically serve the function I’m about to outline. For most users, they’re painful and complex. As a long time user of Home Assistant, I can’t tell you home many times their simple backup and recover function has been useful. I believe a similar function in Plex would be super useful.
The feature I’d like to request is a backup of all settings/data which is NOT related to the videos themselves to better enable moving and/recovering a server. Ideally it should also be simple to periodically execute a backup of this data.
Therefore this one is closed, to prevent spreading the votes across several threads, even though they vote for the same (or at least very similar thing).
