Several times there’s been a need to re-install Plex Server because it stopped working properly and then I have add like 20 Folders again and remain the labels and add user permission setting and correct the order in the Plex application.

seriously add a automatic backup to Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox.

Hi,   Would it be an idea to add an official backup/restore functionality on the Plex Server, so that it is possible to click BACKUP for instance from Server Settings and generate a complete, compressed backup file of all the metadata and related information needed on the server in case of a crash or server migration? I suppose what you’re asking for can already be done using existing software. This has been discussed in an earlier suggestion asking for a similar cloud/remote backup solution.

There are plenty of products available on the market to do what you want outside of Plex. Rclone Odrive Rsync DoubleTake Most Cloud storage solutions allow you to select your own hardware as a “Cloud” provider so you can have your own priovate cloud replication if you want and not pay the big boys.
