Settings that work for PS4 and 7.1?

Hi, I’m having an issue where even though my source file is encoded with multiple formats (AC3 & DTS), I do not get any output to the SL, SR, SBL, SBR channels. I do have L,R, C, & Sub however the sub is due to my receiver (Pioneer SC05) setting of “Plus” on the sub which forces the crossover. The receiver lights up like it is receiving a 7.1 signal.

I throw in a bluray everything is great, full surround. Netflix, Amazon Video, and games sound wonderful. However ANYTHING I play via the PS4 Plex app does not output in surround. I’ve tried every available combination of server, client and PS4 audio settings however nothing works.

Does anyone have 5.1 or 7.1 working on Plex+PS4?

there is an issue where the app cannot output ac3. what is the audio output on ps4 itself? change it to lpcm output if it is not.

My friend thank you, I unchecked the “AC3” box and set the PS4 to output LPCM however the result of that was that I lost the center channel audio.
