We need the PS4 app to support 7.1 audio. More and more movies are using this. AAC, TrueHD, DTS etc…
OR have plex at the very least pick out the left, front, right, back left, back right and sub channels and pass them to the PS4 without re-encoding, which is resulting in sound quality loss.
