Hello,

i set up a plex server yesterday and added my media. it read almost everything correctly and also created collections. and that’s where the problem is. i now have the movies individually in my library and also the collections. how can i hide the individual movies and only show the collections.

At the top of the page inside your library you can choose recommended, library or collections. When you click collections you don’t see regular movies in there.

If you mean you see collections inside your regular library you can hide those.

Click the 3 dots for the movie library in the side bar or top left inside the library.

click Manage Library → Edit → Advanced
Scroll all the way to the bottom and you’ll see collections. You can disable or hide items in collections

thanks for the reply.
i have a lot of movies. with and withou collections. i want to see the collections in my library but not the single movies (from the collections) and the collections together.

  1. Select Manage Library > Edit… from the library’s context menu
  2. Open the Advanced tab
  3. Set the Collections option to Hide items inside a collection

You can optionally override that library configuration for individual collections (e.g. if you have a collection you don’t want to show in the library view or one for which you want to see both, the collection and it’s items) → :pencil2: > Advanced
