Allow Plex users to create a public shareable url link, so they can share music mixes with friends. Make it so listeners don’t require a Plex login to listen and allow Plex users to select the maximum simultaneous listeners and a “disable after” date.
This would make sharing music mixes with friends extremely simple and a great boon to your already great product.
Extra features might include selecting if they are allowed to download and selecting if you want to allow them to leave comments on a mix it a song.
Plex is aiming at sharing media with family and friends – not for public file sharing.
This is why similar feature suggestion have been rejected in the past.
