Is it possible to see a shared Library through Plex Connect and therefore on your Apple TV. Or can I only see this through the iOS app and have to Airplay to the Apple TV.
U can sign into ur myolex throught plexconnect and then u will have a navigationbar item Shared Libraries
How do sign into MyPlex? Where do I find it? I am using Plexify to connect my server to the Apple TV.
On the apple tv itself
Go into PlexConnect–> Settings --> MyPlex SignIn

Yes it works now. Very cool feature of Plex. I know Plexify is not supported anymore and that I should use OpenPlex. Just that I’ve had issues with it in the past and I know Plexify is pretty stable.
There has been a lot of improvements with OpenPlex and its stable now but if plexify works for ya then stick with it. I’m suprised it still works to be honest with ya. The only reason I stopped using it and coded OpenPlex is due to it exposing root. Hopefully it doesn’t have that bug anymore where you can just open a terminal window and type sudo su without a password.
