Shared server and shows all users "On Deck"

Yeah also the same for me. I have my plex pass account logged into the server and my family accesses my server via their own plex accounts but they are messing up my own  on deck. Any news on this being fixed?

Is your plex server on the same local network as your family?

If so, then this is a different issue.

To solve it, you need to activate the setting 'Require authentication on local networks'.

It won't help if someone uses a DLNA client though. These do always influence the 'on deck' of the server's main plex account.

But if you have only genuine plex clients in your network, this will force everyone to use their plex credentials. Their actions won't mess up your status and 'on deck' anymore.

My wife is but other members of my family are not. My Wife’s iPad is logged using her Plex account though. I will set this and see how it goes. Thanks.

Shared users dont get the full "on deck / recently added" views if they don't have their own PMS's. I´m hoping that will change in the near future.

Cant we get this feature for shared users implemented in the next update? Some of my shared users don't have their own library and looks easier opening the app and seeing whats new and on deck instantly.

I am having this issue as well. It's rather bothersome. All my friends are offsite, so not sure the local auth would fix this, in my case.

I have the same issue, remote users watch TV episodes and they appear on my ‘on deck’
I connect via Apple TV and my remote users connect via a variety of things, including just the web site. I am a PlexPass annual, my users are (I assume) not.

DLNA is a local protocol so its not that, my friends all authenticate and I share libraries with them.
my Plex Server is located on a Synology NAS.

Are you using the trakt.tv plugin?
If so, you must create a filter in its preferences.

I do actually, I’ll have a look at that, that seems likely … I read Jun’15 as Jun 15th and though it was a current thread … I had no idea that was 2015 talk about Zombies
