Shared server says unavailable on smart tv but works on iPhone app

So I have a lg smart tv and I’ve always been able to load my friends server on it. Now it just says unavailable when I load his server. My server works and I’m able to watch stuff. On my friends server if I go to my
iPad or iPhone im able to load it up no problem. Any suggestions?

I figured out my own answer. I had to go to settings > advanced > allow insecure connections and viola! Back to normal. Thanks!
