I have a smart TV (it’s an LG) and have been streaming Plex for over a year on it. My friend’s server has worked the whole time but recently it shows as unavailable through the tv app. When I access Plex on the mobile app or through a browser, my friend’s server is shown as available.
No idea what is going on here and unable to troubleshoot further. Friend shows nothing odd on their side either.

I am having the same problem as ArmenianV. I’m streaming a friends server and about 2 days ago It booted me out and now says the server is unavailable. My friend sees everything fine on his end. I have an LG OLED Smart TV and i have changed the settings but still no luck. anything else i can try? This TV is only 2 years old. Is it a TV issue or a PLEX issue?
If it is your friends sever, they may have to change their servers secure connection settings on their server.
What exactly did you change the settings to on your LG.
