Is it possible to share individual episodes for a TV series with my managed users? If not, could it be implemented verses having to share the entire season? I have a couple of TV seasons and would like to share a couple of episodes with my kids but not all a they are not old enough for all episodes yet.
How are your kids accounts setup? Are they full blown users you share with, or setup via Plex Home?
(If it’s the latter, you can manually alter the ratings of the episodes and filter the shares of your kids’ accounts by ratings. That’s how I avoid having 2 separate “Holiday movie” libraries)
The ratings is a good idea, thanks! I’ve setup their account as a managed user account and had set the sharing to be only items with the Kids label. Unfortunately, I can’t find a way to label and individual episode as the only option to share is the entire season. I wonder if this should be a feature request.
Couldn’t you just alter the content rating as suggested by @jkalland ? I haven’t dabbled with this myself but I assume that he means to alter the PG, etc, setting.

There are two ways of restricting, by label as you’ve done now, and by content rating. And I think you should be able to manually override the PG rating for individual episodes.

Yea…I just manually “PG13” anything I don’t want my daughter to see. Once you edit a field in the Web UI, it should lock it to prevent it from reverting on meta refresh
AFAIK, the content rating of individual episodes is not possible/doesn’t work.
It is all or nothing atm.
@OttoKerner Yep, that is why I requested being able to label individual episodes for sharing. What I have ended up doing is syncing the episodes to the iPad that they use and that way they only get specific episodes from the season.
