Server Version#: Last Debian Stable
Hi Everyone,
First off, I don’t know if music playlists are a sub-part of the global playlists feature,
As a home user, i create playlists with music tracks. I can easily find them in
Music Library (a library called Music) --> Top Button “Playlist” --> there.
I created a few playlist for my daughter that I want to share with her.
But using her profile (managed user) there is no Top Button “Playlist” when she goes to the Music Library, only “Recommended” and “Library”.
But then she has another library section called “Shared” where she can see the playlist and everything I shared.
On the same topic, she also has the possibility to select tracks (or albums, …) and use the function “add to playlist”. She can then create a playlist or add to an existing one …
But to listen to it, she has to leave the music section and go to Playlist section and there she can find the music, video, and Photo playlists.
It’s really confusing and very “non-user friendly” …
And that only works on web plex.
She can’t access those shared music playlists on PlexAmp. Which sucks massive big time!!
I love plex, but for some areas of the software it seems that reins were given to some idiots with no sense of useability at all and told him/her/them “go wild …” and he (or she, they) did…
frustrating
