I just learned that music playlists do not show up for other users in the same home account, despite those other members having access to the full library.
And even when access is granted to the individual users, that shared playlist does not show up in the Music > Playlist menu…it’s in the Shared menu… this makes no sense. The users have full access to the library and they’re part of the same family. The concept of one member creating a playlist and then sharing it for others from the same library of music should be table stakes here for a home account.
Request - Make shared playlists show up in the Music > Playlist menu at least. Going to the Shared folder makes no sense when literally everything else on the server is already shared and accessible via the corresponding menus.
There’s already another suggestion discussing this topic. I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes. Unless I’m missing a unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.
