New to Plex. No matter what I do, my friends cannot play movies after going through all the steps of sharing my server. Some can see my server and library. They start a movie and get the circle of death timer and it never plays.
Are they streaming from within your home network or remotely?
If they’re streaming remotely… do you have sufficient bandwidth (internet upload speed)?
Have you verified you can stream media from your server while outside your home network?
Any details on the server (host platform/version, PMS version)?
We have tried both streaming from within home network and remotely.
