I had Plex running perfectly on my Shield with an external hard drive connected to it with all my movies until yesterday when I had to reboot the Sheild. When I turned it back on and went into Plex, it said my Shield Android TV was offline. Nothing I did would get it to come back online.
I read somewhere that when the Shield is turned off or rebooted, when it’s turned back on it thinks that a new hard drive has been attached, which is why Plex wouldn’t work.
I’ve had to delete that server and start over again. Can I never turn off the Shield? Is there something I’m doing wrong or anything I can do to stop this from happening again?
