I am afraid you have disabled debug logging on the server, so I cannot say if it was the memory issue or other issue

Thank you for the logs. There is no indication that it is the memory issue. The Transcoder process failed about 6 minutes after starting, Could you see if you can get it to fail on a short clip created from the original media file

Should be able to use tools such as mkvtoolnix to cut the file and produce a 200Mb file for first chunk and then add that to your library as other video and sync it and see if it fails. If it does, then if you make the logs and that clip available, will try to reproduce the problem
Since it took a few minutes to fail, may be the very short clip won;t have the issue. Would need the smallest size file you can get it to fail with

I’m following this thread and others about Shield PMS for weeks now.
What made me buy a Plex Pass two years ago was clearly the Sync feature… which is completely broken for months.
I made another attempt yesterday to sync five different videos and all failed !!!
I currently don’t have the time to play the same game as other users (test, send logs, create video clips… and report to forum) but I will perhaps try later before giving up finally…
OK, I am having even a weirder problem now. I have repeated the error twice. With the attached video, I use my Mac via the webclient to sync the movie to my tablet. Plex attempts to sync for 11 minutes. After 11 minutes, the server becomes unavailable. I am not able to reach my server gain unless I go to the shield and connect using the Shield Plex client. This makes the server available again. When I go back to my PC, the sync sessions automatically restarts from the beginning and completes.
