This is more of an annoyance.
I have noticed with my Shield TV and Shield TV Pro when playing music videos, which are about 3-7 minutes a piece, the video would play and queue up to the next one and playback just fine. It is not a playing issue. But, when I go to the home page, it shows the played videos with the yellow line indicating that the video played but did not completed, even though it did.
I recently ripped the Looney Tunes Golden Collection and those episodes are typically 7-8 minutes long, too, and as I play those some show up as partially played, even though I watched the whole thing.
When I use the web client on Chrome, I have not seen this issue. It seems only the NVDIA Shield and Shield Pro boxes I have exhibit this behavior.
My work-around has been just going through and marking these videos as watched.
I am guessing there is some minimum video length required to get Plex to mark the video played. Like I said, it is an annoyance.
