Should I format USB Hard Drive exFAT -or- NTFS for use with Plex on Nvidia Shield?

I have movies up to 10GB in size so FAT32 is not an option. I’m concerned about fragmentation since I delete movies after I’ve watched them and download new movies to add to my library on an almost daily basis. I know NTFS has a problem with fragmentation over time, but does exFAT? I was hoping someone here might have a better idea of which file system continues to work well with the Shield & Plex over time with daily file deletions and additions. It’s too bad that Nvidia doesn’t support EXT4 since it is far superior and fragmentation is not as much of an issue.

I’ve had my Nvidia Shield for a couple weeks now but this issue has delayed setting up my libraries until I know the best course of action. Any recommendations? NTFS or exFAT?
