I’ve got a large amount of drumless music(m4a format) that has no tags to each file and the filenames are random (so it would be very time consuming to try to create tags from the filenames).
Does anyone know if there is a way (natively or through a plugin) to display the real file names of audio media instead of what plex tries to read from the file?

Not really. There is software which can take the folder/file name and put it (or a part of it) into a meta tag.
mp3tag for instance.

I’ve installed mStream alongside Plex so that seems like it’ll do the basics as its quite a limited use case that I’m looking for.
