Shows like Spongebob are being mislabeled

So i’m going through and really organizing everything and noticed tons of spongebob episodes aren’t labeled like they should be according to thetvdb.

example: spongebob squarepants → season 11-> “S11E01 Spot Returns.mkv” and yet plex is calling it “cave dwelling sponge” yet that’s episode 5… so what’s happening here? All meta data is accurate to thetvdb yet plex keeps messing up. its so bad that the last 7 episodes aren’t even named… just “episode 48…”

my thoughts are spongebob is a (usually) 2 episode per time slot show. does that mean all episodes need to be renamed into combined names? “S11E1-2”…? thanks guys!

another example, S12 E10 and 11 are flipped. thetvdb and my library have the correct labeling but plex has them flipped.

Click the pencil on the show poster and go to advanced. Change it tvdb

If you name all your shows according to the tvdb you can change the whole library
3 dots next to the library → Manage Library → Edit → Advanced
