I’m having a problem with certain shows season posters showing the incorrect poster.
What I’ve figured out is if the show does not have any posters available on the TVDB it always picks a poster from a show I no longer even have.
Both of these shows season one display a poster from the show “The Queen’s Gambit” (which I no longer even have in my library). There are a few more like this in my library too.
It’s almost like there is a fallback image set somewhere that I cannot find.
I have tried unmatching and rematching the shows, matching the wrong show to it and changing it back, cleaning the bundles, refreshing the metadata and rescanning the library.
That’s definitely odd. Can you post which Agent you have your TV library setup to use? That might help with pinpointing the issue.
Do you have the same experience using app.plex.tv vs local hosted? Where are you seeing the wrong poster I guess is the question… (client).
The fallback image is usually the Show poster I think… when you go into the Season options is Queen’s Gambit a poster to select or just no posters to select but still showing Queen’s Gambit poster (the show or season level)?
Before delving into database repair - Repair a Corrupted Database | Plex Support - might be worth hearing back from folks who can dig into your logs but that might be a step as well since it sounds very bugged out.
The agent is Plex TV Series. Yeah, I should have mentioned that when I go to manually select the poster for these seasons the only poster that shows is from the Queen’s Gambit.
