Shuffle button instead of Play button at Artist level?

I always feel strange that the Play button is in fact a Shuffle button for the artist tracks

Wouldn’t it be more accurate to have a Shuffle button instead?

It’s also weird how when you click the Radio button on an Album page, it just shuffles the album? Why doesn’t it work like every other Radio, and play a mix of tracks (from any artist) which match the vibe of the album?

@armandhammer The radio button on an album page doesn’t shuffle the album (there’s a shuffle button for that). It is Album Radio, which is the same as track radio. If you click that radio button on an album page it will play the album in its entirety and then play another similar-sounding album in its entirety after it and continue playing similar-sounding albums in their entirety.

Technically, yes. Practically, we’re just following the convention established by other music players.

It’s album radio, which is like Random Album Radio but specific to sonically similar albums.
