It would be cool to have a setting that would cause multi-part episodes to play back-to-back when shuffling through TV shows. This would have to appropriately handle both single-file and multi-file multipart episodes, and probably gracefully handle the case when one or more parts are missing from the shuffled episodes (e.g. if shuffling a collection that only has one part).
Given that there’s no metadata for multipart episodes, I recognize there’s some difficulty in figuring out when this should be applied; a reasonable heuristic could be consecutive episodes with (1), (2)… etc. at the end of titles (would have to look across season boundaries).
For anyone else interested in this feature, a workaround would be to merge all multi-file multipart episodes into a single file; I’m not a fan of this solution because it removes the flexibility to skip one part if desired/depending on how closely linked the episodes are (besides making maintenance a bit more painful).
