I can say that I have never once reached the “Exit or Switch” screen intentionally. I get the purpose, but can it be a function under the profile menu? I do use the Switch function often, and that’s where I go to do it. Would make sense to park Exit there as well.
I’m farting around with the Roku Preview with more intentionality as I consider this conversation right now.
What I’d want from the left menu:
- I click left. I scroll down through my libraries. Flyouts appear to the right for libraries as they did in top nav (my fav improvement made there).
- I pop right and select Recommended or Browse, etc as I do today.
- I decide to go somewhere else, so I hit left. Menu appears. Good.
- I hit back, Home is highlighted. Also good.
- I hit back one more time and I’d expect the menu system to collapse. This is where I get the Exit or Switch prompt. Or it could park on Home and let me press back to my heart’s content. But then how do you exit the menu?
