Sign in digits not appearing when numeric keys appearing

I have pin codes on all my plex user accounts. When signing into an account, the numeric keys on the remote are registering, but the asterix is not appearing on the screen, to indicate the key press.

So you are potentially unsure of how many keys have been pressed. If your remote is playing playing up, or the interface is slow, that little bit of extra clarity on interaction is missing.
