This is nonsense. Just having those logins enables ensures you are tracked by both Feckbook and Gobble. It is all very carefully hidden in the login page, but it is there nonetheless. It will certainly be on ANY mobile app too.
So not only do you have to use a ‘Plex’ account so login so that Plex can track you, they now want to be able to share that with the 2 biggest dataminers on the planet, without a ‘by your leave’ and NO option to disable it. So, use Plex, and FB and G will know what you are doing so. That = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ for Plex.
The same people who couldn’t secure a simple forum and got hacked. Do I trust them ? Do you??
This is disgraceful behaviour, but typical of any company that sold its soul to Vulture Capitalists.
I suggest you all go take a look at Emby and dump Plex immediately. (Note I have no connection to Emby - I am just a very angry and frustrated Plex CUSTOMER… yes, I PAID for this)
