Signing In and Link Code

I am not able to sign into my Plex account. I go through the steps and be to the point when it ask me the following: To sign in, visit https://plex.tv/link from a web browser on another device and enter the four digit code below. When I go to another device, I don’t have a place or know where to go to enter the code. I’ve also clicked on the https://plex.tv/link and entered the four digit code and it says that my account is linked and return to the app to continue. When I exit and return to the app, it starts the sign in process all over. I’m uninstalled and reinstalled to see if that was the issue after reading one of the post in the forum. Still nothing. I can get my Plex to work on every device (iPhone, iPad, computer) but not on the TV with the code. Any suggestions?

Yeah, my mom has a similar issue. She always needs to “link” the TV app on every load.

There is a huge box in the center of page. What is it that you see if not that.

Which page are you referring to?

You should see something that looks similar to this on your TV or device you are trying to link.

And from your web browser you should see this at https://plex.tv/link

You are correct. When I try and go to a second device and sign in…no place to put in the code. When I click on the link and put in the four digit code…it tells me my account is linked and to return to the app to continue. When I return, that’s when I’m directed to start the sign in process all over again.

When you are on your other device, like the device you are using this forum on right now, what happens when you go to https://plex.tv/link

to be clear you need to leave the code up on the screen on your TV.
