Having issues signing onto my plex account on my smart TV. I click on the “already have an account” I enter the code on the plex.tv/link says successful and then goes back to the same screen saying “already have an account”. Can someone advise please .

I am using my phone as well as my laptop to enter the code which shows on my TV and keeps reverting back to same page. I have always been able to sign in without issues. Really frustrating. I have tried to log in under my sons name and does the same thing. Deleted the app on TV reinstalled and still…

When I click that link it asks for the code which I enter…then says account linked with a tick but on my TV shows thanks, plex logo appears but then it goes back to the “already have an account”

Really need someone to help out my kids driving me crazy wanting to watch plex.

Seems like it’s an issue with the app on my LG TV. Net is connected. Netflix Amazon YouTube all working fine except for plex!!! The TV model is LG SJ810V Appreciate if someone could help with this. Plex really need to roll out more updates on smart TVs

I wish I can help but I’m out of options. I’ve never had much luck with TV app(especially plex app). My replies were in hopes you may be having the same issue as the OP I linked to.

Total SWAG, but might help. Turn off TV. Disconnect from AC power for ~30 seconds, reconnect, but leave TV powered off. This makes sure the app is not running in the background (I’m not aware of a way to “force quit” the app like on Android & other platforms). Go to Authorized Devices in Ple…

FYI, plex.tv had a glitch in the last hour or so. See https://status.plex.tv/ . Might wait a bit and then make sure you can sign in to your account at plex.tv via app.plex.tv . If not, then doubtful the TV will be able to authenticate using plex.tv/link .
