Similar album autoplay card chooses album just played

I find that the autoplay card for “Similar Album” often just goes around in circles, i.e. it will play Album A, move to Album B and then show Album A as the similar album up next. It’s a bit annoying to say the least.

I just played Art Garfunkel’s Breakaway which has 30 sonically similar albums in my collection. It then led on to Chris de Burgh’s Far Beyond These Castle Walls which also has 30 sonically similar albums and yet Breakaway appeared as autoplay’s similar album up next.

This has happened quite a number of times which makes the Similar Album autoplay card a bit annoying. It would be good if the system didn’t queue up an album that has already been played in the existing queue.

agreed, giving it some “memory” is on the list of improvements we’d like to make.
