Make sure you do not enable the New Plex Home feature.

I think it is located in the Users parameter after Web and Server.
I have the option in there to add users to my Home but none despite my personal one is in there. I suppose this is on for this user. However I can’t find an option to disable it.

Hi guys. I think I have fixed the video playback and subtitle disable issues. I completely rewrote the player to a HTML5 video element according to the webOS API.
The downside is that I can't get alternative audio languages to work.

With PlayZ, you don't. It is not a "standard" PLEX Player, and (at least until now) doesn't broadcast itself to the network.Hello,

You'll have to either connect the TV to your PC's display output and run Plex Home Theater or use a third-party device like Google Chromecast.
On a side note, you can use LG's Smart Remote app to navigate PlayZ. A keyboard on your hands is better than On-Screen (even though it is also technically on-screen, just your phone's instead of the TV's), so the search function may be taken out of oblivion and put to use :). Not as good as the Plex Client Remote Control (which fails me a lot for some reason) but still a usable workaround.
Didn't have to bother that much like in the thread but got my issue sorted while trying to reproduce the steps. Somehow server wasn't listening on port 32400 anymore. Didn't have to map manually, just redid automatically and PlayZ connected fine again. Thanks a bunch for your help mate.You can follow the instructions in this discussion:

Everything is fine but there are two questions:
- Why such poor quality posters from movies? On the computer the quality is excellent.
- Why can not I turn off the subtitles? How to disable subtitles forever?

All updates have been performed for the TV.
The network is wired GigE
Anyone else experienced movies freezing intermittently?
Am running Plex Server Version 0.9.11.7 / Web Version 2.3.7
Don’t have any freezing issues running Plex through Chromecast, just wish this new app would work as it claims.

Be sure you activated Direct Play, otherwise you are transcoding and it can produce freezing if your server is not powerful enough.

I have tryed to build a new ipk with your commits to the simon's github.
The app runs, it shows my movies etc .... but when i press play the image loading stays on the lower left corner.
I'll try to downgrade my FW to 3.x.x if it would allow me... now i'm on 4.32.20 (the latest for UK).
Still can't play the video files. The tv is 60LB650V (the EU version of the 6500 USA)
