Simple default file order for Photos?

I just want to be able to have the photos order my more recent to latest. When going to it from my Android TV when I view the photos I have to scroll down all the way to the end before I see new photos. It is would be nice if there were at the top. For example Google Photos does this as a default. My folder structure is my year or all my folders are. /2000. /2001, /2002…/2025. Then I have the photos or videos in the respective folders. I have not renamed any files so they are the default format of .mp4 or .jpg.
