I was hoping we could get the ability to sort our video playlists, in particular by date, that way users could easily throw together say a MCU, DCEU, Arrowverse or even a Buffyverse playlist that would then sort the episodes and movies based on when they came out so you could just hit play and watch through the entire universe in order, would also just be handy for the harry potter or star wars series though granted not as needed for those ones.
Additionally i think it would be a fantastic idea to have playlists be self updating and work off Tags, so that way whenever a new Marvel or DC episode came out it would auto add to the playlist, or alternatively it would allow people the ability to build “smart playlists” for the music in much the same fashion as iTunes does.
Both these features should be fairly simple to implement and would drastically improve the usefulness of the somewhat lacking Playlist feature currently in Plex.
