I search for all forum but i couldn't find a simple answer like this.
1) Can we play RTMP live streams on "unjailbroken" ATV using PlexConnect ?
2) Can we play RTMP using a modified xml without Plex just using the DNS redirect method ?

Are you serious? You could not find any reference to RTMP and Plexconnect? 
Try looking again. I recommend looking at the channels sticky at the top of this forum. At least as far as Channels go, it does not work. If you are looking for something else please explain exactly what you are trying to do.

No, not yet, and this will always require the Plex Media Server to convert the RTMP stream into something the ATV can play.

No, the ATV cannot play RTMP streams, with or without Plex, DNS hacks, etc.
So what about this online video stream http://91.202.1.17:7777/udp/239.10.16.1:1234. Can I play it on ATV via plexconnect?

~85% of our channels are now using RTMP, we're in Canada. We enrolled a few weeks ago hoping to get a release before the girls come back next weekend from their grand parents for school to starts.
Is there an ETA for this feature to happen? I looked at the "vote forum" and didn't find anything on this topic :/
