I am missing a solution to play simple mp3 streams from an url.
I have a raspi icecast solution in my LAN.
An icecast server provides some streams which are playing 24/7 music from a raspberry pi hdd.
I am missing a plex solution like a playlist in plex where i can add simple mp3 streaming urls.
In the past there was a plugin to add stream urls. Since plex don’t support plugin… not possible.
Of course i could use an other app to play my icecast streams. But i would like to have the one and only the best music app “plexamp” as only the one media app.
There’s been a similar suggestion discussing an option for a Shoutcast/Icecast like integration of internet radio stations.
That being said… there’s some older suggestions for a more general internet radio integration that have been closed referring to the rules for feature suggestions.
