I want to make a suggestion to Plex developers. I would like Plex to create a simulated “live tv” with a “guide” of simulated channels using my movie and TV files. I want you to make it so that Plex will autogenerate a virtual/simulated guide of live programming from my files that looks like the live TV channels. I think this would be an amazing feature for people with large media libraries to simulate guided live television. I essentially want AI to create channels and a guide of programming from my media. I have a hard time deciding what to watch.
I suppose what you’re asking for is already being discussed in this existing feature suggestion thread. I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes.
Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.
