Since the latest update, when I click to watch a specific movie or tv show, plex opens another randomly. Can someone help me out with this? I have tried refreshing the whole library and it is the same!
You need to produce the problem and the copy and zip up the logs and attach them to you next post. Also you need to provide details of exactly what you do to produce the problem.
The lack of detail in your first post makes it nearly impossible to diagnose the problem.
BTW: It is a problem that I have never seen or heard of so it may take some effort to find the problem or a full shutdown and restart of your server and clients may be all that is needed to clear up everything.
What player is it about?
I wonder if it’s a strange random movie or just a trailer?
Check the settings and see if Plex is playing trailers before items automatically.

Good point. I forget about trailers because I always turn them off. I just want to watch movies and TV shows. I never liked or found any value in previews in movie theaters and I quickly found that trailers had even less value.
