Single episode of one show is being matched to another show

I’ve recently set up a new Plex server and have just finished migrating all of my episode files to the new server. After rescanning all library files, everything looks perfect for all shows and all episodes except for one single episode that’s being matched to the wrong show. As you can’t “fix match” for a single episode, I’m not sure how to fix this.

What my files look like:

  • G:\TV Shows\Hell’s Kitchen (US)\
    • Season 17\
      • {16 episode files}
    • Season 18\

    • Season 19\
      • {16 episode files}
    • Season 20\
      • {16 episode files}
  • G:\TV Shows\Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell & Back\

    • Season 3\
      • S03E01 - Lowery’s Seafood Restaurant.mkv
      • S03E02 - Blend on Main.mkv
      • S03E03 - Caneda’s White Rooster.mkv

What my episodes look like in Plex:

  • Hell’s Kitchen (US)
    • Season 3
      • Episode 2: “Day 2”
        This has a Files value of “G:\TV Shows\Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell & Back\Season 3\S03E02 - Blend on Main.mkv”
    • Season 17
      • {16 episodes}
    • Season 18
      • {16 episodes}
    • Season 19
      • {16 episodes}
    • Season 20
      • {16 episodes}
  • Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell & Back
    • Season 1
      • {8 episodes}
    • Season 2
      • {10 episodes}
    • Season 3

What could cause this random mismatch to happen when the folder naming convention is consistent and works for every episode in “Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell & Back” except for one single episode? (This wasn’t an issue on the old server either!)

How can I fix this?

You should be able to “Split Apart” on the show level of Hell's Kitchen (US) - you should then have two copies of the show with only the wrong episode being in the one copy. You can “Fix Match” on that wrong copy to the correct show and it should merge into the correct show.
