I have many Tv shows some Match fine others do not! It would be an Idea to be able to fix these matches like you do with movies but on the level of season / episode! Example Season one of The Blacklist IMDB shows 22 shows Plex shows 20 i have 23 in folder including the extras for this season about 8 of these are incorrectly matched or placed together or not matched at all and incorrect orders! I use the File name setup like this [The Blacklist S01D01E01 Pilot] with each episode with correct number and given name checked the spelling from IMDB and they show correct on episodes not matching correctly still having problems !
This is not the first time issue have a few other shows with same problems and other problems thus suggestion is being able to fix this by doing the same as fixing matches on movies just by doing Show / Season / Episode
That file name is wrong. It should be: “The Blacklist - s01e01 - Pilot.ext” I have no idea what the “D01” you have in the filename could be for.
Follow this format for your TV library and your matches will be better:

Note: The year after the show name is only normally needed or desired if there is more that one show with exactly the same name. Check http://thetvdb.com/ if you are not sure and match exactly the name used there. There are some exceptions to this where the year is needed even if there is no other show of that name or if the show does not have the year in TheTVDB.
There are naming methods other than the above that work but this does work 99.9% of the time.
If you are going to use Plex it is best to use the proper naming conventions so Plex makes the best match possible. Trying to force Plex to use other naming methods is just asking for frustration.

I used the above naming system, but Plex still insists on ruining my match every time the library gets updated. I have Law and Order in my media library, and the folder organization and file names follow this system:
TV Shows
— Law and Order
--------- Season 1
--------------- Law & Order S01E01
And so on and so forth for the entire series. However, every time my Plex library gets updated, it takes several L&O seasons and re-classifies them as Law and Order: Los Angeles. There’s nothing in the file names that indicate why this would be happening. Any ideas? I’m really fed up with having to re-match manually every time I do an update.
