A feature I’d love to have at some point in the future is the ability to generate a url from myplex that you could send to someone and share a single episode of a show or a single movie. If you have a friend or family member who lives far away and they missed an episode or you really want to show them a particular show, it would be great to be able to send them access to a specific file that they could play through their browser instead of setting up a myplex account, getting access to your server, and downloading a client and configure it correctly. The current method is great for people you want to have permanent access to a portion of your library, but it’s a lot of steps for someone to go through who just wants to play one file or for someone you don’t necessarily want on your server all the time. Basically, it would be nice to be able to say, “hey, look at this,” and have someone not on your local network be able to watch it instantly.

Like this as well, but I would like to see a time limit and or stream limit implemented. So that the link only lasts for a limited amount of time and/or amount of uses.
With Plexamp, I think this would be a great feature. I’d like to be able to share a URL for a song or maybe even a 45 second preview. At the very least, for Plex Pass managed users, it would be nice to share URLs in our house.
