Single Season Show not going past 99

Server Version#: Version 4.59.2

Hi I have a TV Show that a single season and currently on 105 episodes but Plex doesn’t seem to detect after episode 99.

File name beings
Episode 99 - Date
Episode 101 - Date

The show is not matched with TMDB etc so should just be using local assets and have re-scanned library but wont pick up episode 100+

That won’t work in Plex. You have to use the file naming with season and episode number, as shown in here: https://support.plex.tv/articles/naming-and-organizing-your-tv-show-files/

Hmm episodes 01-99 display correctly. As the show does not appear in any database I can’t match and scrape metadata.

The weird thing is episode 100 did show in Plex yesterday as I watched it but when I added episodes 101-105 today it disappeared

That doesn’t matter. You still have to use the naming schema as shown in that article.
If you have more than 99 episodes within one season, use 3-digit episode numbers in all file names – e.g. My Show - s01e003.mp4

You don’t happen to know of a tool I can use to rename the files?

Depends on your operating system.
MacOS has something built in.
On Windows you can install the Microsoft Power Toys which bring the Power Rename tool.
Or you can use Filebot in its manual mode
