Not scanning Seasons over 100

For some reason Plex is not adding any episodes in a show past season 99. Scanner log attached showing that it sees the folder structure.

Use 3 digit episodes.

e.g.

Series - S01E001 - title
.
.
Series - S01E099 - title
Series - S01E100 - title

Still not picking up. The issue is that it is Series - 100x01 - Title.ext. The season 100, 102 etc folders do not show in Plex.

What has 100 seasons?

Television hasn’t been around that long.

http://thetvdb.com/?tab=series&id=183411&lid=7 House Hunters International…broken into 111 “seasons” so far.

Holy Firetruck!

I will need speak with Engineering on this one after I conduct a few tests of my own… Hold tight.

BRB

I bounced this off the lead guy. What I got back was “Dang!”.

I don’t have a definitive solution for you right now. you MIGHT be able to put them in absolute episode order / air-date order (which is a pain and would need FileBot or a similar tool to rename).

I will update as I hear more.

Confirm for me please you’re good until Season 99 ?
Also please show me your exact file naming.

In reading the code more, I would like you to try a naming experiment if you don’t mind?

Take season 100’s episodes and rename them to use SxxxEyy format.

After renaming them, pull that season out from where PMS can see it
update the library
empty the trash
clean the bundles
(the plex dance)
then put it back in and scan.

If it picks up SxxxEyy but not sssXyy then the problem has been isolated.

Renaming experiment works. Episodes and season are seen when the episode is named in the S100xE01 format but not when in the 100x01 formatting.

Thank you for confirming.

In reviewing the code with one of the Engineering team members, we’ve found the exact spot in the code which is deficient.

At this point, the choice is yours, either rename your episodes using a tool like FileBot to use SxxxEyy or wait until the correction is made and released.
The earliest this change could be seen is 1.9.1+ as 1.9.0 is already in QA but please know Engineering has to make the changes and then process it, with the other work being done, through the QA process.

Since it’s such a limited number of episodes at current I will utilize filebot to make the changes for now and look forward to the update

This is still not fixed in 1.16 …
And House Hunters International is on season 144 by now :-/

Use the recommended file naming and there is no issue.

That’s clear; it’s just a pity that the Sonaar defaults don’t work :-/
