I noticed that the “Skip Ads” button is not available when using the Plex client on my LG TV however “Skip Intro” is. I know I don’t see LG TVs on the apps that support commercial skipping but I just wanted to verify that’s the case and not a bug.
Do you have a tuner configured?

I do and the feature works in other Plex app like on Plex Web. Digging through the change log of the WebOS version, I see that Skip Intro was added but I don’t see one for Skip Ads so I’m guessing it’s not available. 
I keep forgetting that not all devices have the feature with LG being one of them. The link I added has it the supported list.
The related support article lists which clients support skipping ads… WebOS isn’t listed.
As usual, there’s no confirmation/ERA if/when this will be implemented.

Yeah, I saw that too. It just seemed weird to me that Skip Intro was there and Skip Ads isn’t. Seems like very similar features so to have one and not other seems odd but I’m speaking out of complete ignorance.
